Jaren Jackson Jr.'s Status vs. Golden State Warriors Revealed

Memphis Grizzlis star Jaren Jackson Jr. is the last man standing from what was supposed to be a star trio of himself, Ja Morant, and Desmond Bane. Morant is out for the season due to shoulder surgery, and Bane is sidelined for at least six weeks with an ankle sprain. Jackson is also a bit banged up, currently dealing with a right knee contusion that has him questionable for Monday's game vs. the Golden State Warriors.

The Grizzlies have released their injury report for this game, and Jackson is questionable along with Santi Aldama. Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Marcus Smart, Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, Jake LaRavia, and Derrick Rose have all been ruled out for Memphis.

If Jackson cannot go, the Grizzlies will be as shorthanded as ever vs. Golden State. While this has been the most frustrating season imaginable for Memphis, there is still a silver lining with the opportunities these injuries have opened up for young players like GG Jackson.

Initially not expected to see much time at all in the NBA this season, Jackson showed some really impressive stuff in his first real rotation minutes vs. the New York Knicks. If Jackson can develop this season into a real rotation piece, then the Grizzlies will have something to feel good about in this otherwise dreadful season that was derailed by injuries.
