WATCH: Ja Morant and NBA YoungBoy Connection Continues

In this story:
It is no secret that Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is a major NBA YoungBoy fan. Morant is always quoting YoungBoy's song "Fresh Prince of Utah" by yelling, "It's a parade inside my city, yeah!" Grizzlies players, broadcasters, and fans have all followed the movement, as the lyrics have become somewhat of a catch phrase for the team.
In a recent video, Morant was seen performing YoungBoy songs at the club, enjoying his offseason while one of his favorite artists played throughout the venue:

YoungBoy's label shouted Morant out earlier this season on Instagram, showing love to the Grizzlies star for all of the support. This connection has been going on for a while now, and is something former Grizzlies player Danny Green spoke about on a podcast, saying, "Coming here, it made me realize why he's number one. All they do is listen to YoungBoy all day. From morning to night, from shoot-around to the game, it's NBA YoungBoy."
It is always fun to see athletes and music artists connect, and the Ja Morant - NBA YoungBoy connection is one of the most notable around sports right now. While some have been critical of the viral video of Morant, considering his off court issues that occurred in a club earlier this season, there is nothing wrong with him enjoying his offseason in this way, as he has clearly learned what not to do when going out.
