Boston Celtics Star Jayson Tatum On The Miami Heat: "They Compete With The Best Of Them"

The Boston Celtics and Miami Heat have gotten familiar with each other the past few seasons.

This marks the third time in four seasons they meet in the Eastern Conference finals, so Celtics All-Star Jayson Tatum is excited about facing an old foe.

"A team that we're extremely familiar with, third time in four years playing them in the playoffs," Tatum said. "They're a very well-coached team. They compete with the best of them. They play hard. They defend. They make plays. They figure out a way to win games."

The Celtics eliminated the Heat in last year, advancing to face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. In 2020, the Heat won on their way to playing the Los Angeles Lakers

"It's going to be fun," Tatum said. "It's going to be highly competitive. I'm looking forward to it. It's the best time of the year and we get to play them again. As a competitor, you just love the opportunity."
