The Firing Of Atlanta Hawks' Nate McMillian Marks The 143th NBA Coaching Change Miami Heat's Erik Spoelstra Has Survived

In this story:
The Atlanta Hawks fired Nate McMillian earlier this year, meaning they are searching for their third coach since 2019.
While the Hawks deal with instability, the Miami Heat continue with mainstay Erik Spoelstra in control on the sideline. Spoelstra, in his 15th season, is the second-longest tenured coach in the league behind Gregg Popovich of the San Antonio Spurs.
In all, there will have been 143 coaching changes once Atlanta finds a replacement since Spoelstra took over in 2008. Here's a look at the list:
