After snapping a four-game losing streak with an upset road win over the Toronto Raptors, the Sacramento Kings are heading into a bottom-of-the-barrel matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans. Back at home after a five-game road trip, the Kings are in a position to win their second straight game and move to an even 7-7 over their last 14.

However, once again, injuries will hinder the Kings' chances. The Kings have continued to battle injuries, as they have all season, but this final regular-season stretch has been as bad as ever. For Friday's game, they have ruled out seven key players, including Russell Westbrook and Malik Monk.

Kings' loaded injury report

The Kings' full injury report for Friday's game against the Pelicans:

- Drew Eubanks: OUT (left thumb UCL repair)

- De'Andre Hunter: OUT (left eye retinal repair)

- Zach LaVine: OUT (right 5th finger tendon repair)

- Malik Monk: OUT (personal reasons)

- Keegan Murray: OUT (left ankle sprain)

- Domantas Sabonis: OUT (left knee meniscus repair)

- Russell Westbrook: OUT (right toe injury management)

Of course, when they are down Westbrook, Monk, Sabonis, LaVine, Murray, and Hunter, the odds are immediately against them to pull out a win. However, they have shown in their last 13 games that they are capable of winning, regardless of who is on the floor.

DeMar DeRozan, Precious Achiuwa, and Maxime Raynaud have all stepped up big time for the Kings in this situation, and we can expect them to do what they can to help carry them to a win over the Pelicans on Friday.

Pelicans rule out Dejounte Murray

Pelicans star Dejounte Murray missed the first 58 games of the season while recovering from a torn Achilles, and since returning, his availability has been iffy. Now, on the second night of a back-to-back, the Pelicans have made the smart decision to sit him. Star wing Trey Muprhy III has also been listed with an injury designation, but he is expected to play. The Pelicans' full injury report:

- Trey Murphy III: PROBABLE (right ankle sprain)

- Karlo Matkovic: QUESTIONABLE (low back spasms)

- Bryce McGowens: OUT (right small toe fracture)

- Dejounte Murray: OUT (right Achilles injury management)

The Pelicans will be shorthanded without Murray in the lineup, but with Murphy III expected to play, and guys like Zion Williamson, Saddiq Bey, Jeremiah Fears, and Derik Queen available, they will still have more than enough to beat the Kings on Friday.

The Pelicans have already taken down the Kings in each of their two previous matchups this season, and while it will be a challenging matchup that could go either way, Sacramento certainly has the tools to avoid the season sweep.

The Kings and Pelicans are set to tip off at 7:00 p.m. PT in Sacramento on Friday.
