Doncic signed a massive three-year, $165 million deal with the Lakers. He has a player option at the end of the 2028 season, and he is likely to opt out and sign a five-year contract worth north of $400 million when that time comes, likely with the Lakers.
Doncic is the present and future of the Lakers. He is committed to the team and vice versa, so much so, the 26-year-old superstar has shown that he is committed not only to his craft but to his conditioning.
The Slovenian superstar has transformed his body like no other this offseason. Doncic has posted videos of himself working out, and he topped it off with an appearance in Men's Health magazine, looking as slim as he ever has.
Doncic’s body transformation had everyone buzzing all week long. Even Warriors star and NBA champion Draymond Green chimed in on it.
Green took to Threads and shared his opinion on how Doncic looks this offseason.
"Luka is looking like rookie Luka all over again. The Trade has created that hunger again it seems! 🔥🔥"

The four-time NBA champion is one who is never shy to share his opinion on any matter. In this instance, Green decided to show some love to the five-time All-Star in Doncic.
There is no denying Doncic's game, but many had concerns about his weight and conditioning, including the Dallas Mavericks. That is part of the reason why the Mavericks shockingly traded Doncic in early February, which stunned the basketball and sports world.
The Mavericks had major worries regarding his weight, and Doncic has done everything in his power to dispel that narrative.
According to Doncic's nutritionist, Lucia Almendors, the five-time All-NBA member is eating eggs and chicken during meals and supplements with shakes made from no-sugar, low-carb whey protein isolate.
Doncic is taking that part of his life seriously, and he must if he wants to be considered one of the greatest to ever grace the court. The 26-year-old is ready to take the NAB by storm and lead the Lakers back to the promised land, a place they've become accustomed to.
