FS1 Analyst Goes Off on Lakers’ Luka Doncic in Epic Rant

In this story:
The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a tough loss on Monday, their third consecutive loss, this time to the Orlando Magic. The Lakers are off to a bad start to their crucial four-game road trip this week.
The Lakers have not looked like the team that went 20-4 from mid-January to early March. They have been lackluster on both sides of the ball, resulting in a 3-7 record over their last 10 games.
While they are on the right side of health, that's the only thing going right for Los Angeles. The Lakers have not looked like themselves, and while the loss was due to their defense, FS1 analyst Chris Broussard went all in on Lakers superstar Luka Doncic.
Broussard went on an epic rant on Doncic, saying the 26-year-old superstar is a 'ball-hog.'
“Luka Doncic is a ball hog. A great ball hog. A Hall of Fame ball hog (future). An all-time elite ball hog. HE’S A BALL HOG.”

While the Lakers didn't play up to par, Doncic played well enough for L.A. to capture the win on the offensive end. He recorded 32 points on a poor 9-of-23 shooting from the field, seven rebounds, seven assists, and one steal in 38 minutes of action.
Doncic did his part on offense but certainly not on defense. However, that was the case with the entire team. L.A. allowed the Magic to shoot 49.4 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from three in the win.
The Magic also outrebounded the Lakers 43-39 and committed two fewer turnovers.
Monday night was not pretty for the Lakers, but Doncic, the best payer and leader, doesn't mind falling on the sword.
"I think me and Bron, think we should be the guys to do that," Doncic said. "That's on me. Obviously, I've got to do better, I've got to talk more. I talked in the first half, then just kind of [let my] voice down and I shouldn't do that."
As for the ball-hog part, Doncic is an elite scorer who thrives with the ball in his hands. The five-time All-NBA member has made a name for himself with his shooting, scoring, and passing ability. He is one of the most selfless players in the league, but he knows when to turn it on.
