Mavs in Miami: Team Bonding and Pre-Camp Training

For a team with big playoff aspirations, the Dallas Mavericks appear to be off to a great start, at least in terms of starting to build team chemistry. Recently, Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis, Delon Wright and Isaiah Roby all hinted on social media that something was brewing.
Looks like at least Luka, KP, and Delon are all in Miami. #MavsMiamiWatch pic.twitter.com/uD6TwTU1cp

A source with knowledge of the situation has confirmed to DallasBasketball.com that some of the Mavs have made their way down to Miami for 'team bonding and some pre-camp training.'
Although we don't yet have a full head count of which Mavs will be attending, I think it would be safe to add Tim Hardaway Jr. to the list, being that he's spent a lot of time training on his own in Miami these last few weeks.
We do know that at least a couple of the guys won't be able to attend the team's beach-bonding experience. Ryan Broekhoff, who recently sat out of the World Cup competition for Australia, is still enjoying family time with his wife and newborn son before all the madness of the season gets cranked back up with training camp starting in three weeks.
It is also believed that Seth Curry will not be in Miami with the rest of the guys as well, due to his impending marriage to Callie Rivers, daughter of Los Angeles Clippers head coach, Doc Rivers.
We will continue to provide you with updates as we receive them, but in the meantime, rest easy knowing that these Mavs want to gel both on and off the court as quickly as they can, in hopes of having that chemistry carry over to a winning season in 2019-2020. Although this Mavs season officially begins in Dallas on October 23rd, it will unofficially begin down in Miami.
