Luka Doncic completes outrageous behind-the-head pass in Mavericks-Lakers

In this story:
Dallas fans are no strangers to the spectacular abilities of one Luka Doncic, the newest star of the LA Lakers, who continues to dazzle with acrobatic passes and finishes. The five-time all-NBA superstar and one of the league's best players has dominated so much in his career that it almost becomes routine to watch as a fan.
Tonight, as the Mavericks play on the road versus the Lakers, Doncic was extra motivated to come out and perform at the highest level to show his former team just what they traded away in the Anthony Davis swap. He demonstrated his skillset in spades, but one play in particular really stood out in the first half.

Driving against Spencer Dinwiddie, Doncic took his opponent off the dribble, heading towards the basket before dishing an absolutely magnificent assist to Austin Reaves, who waited at the three-point line to catch the ball and connect on a deep shot, increasing LA's lead to double digits. He jumped in the air and threw it behind his head directly on the money to Reaves. The highlight is available below.

In the first half alone, Doncic scored 12 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, recorded seven assists, and stole the ball twice in 18 minutes as the Lakers led the Mavericks 59-51 at the break. Hopefully, for the Mavericks' sake, they can limit him in the second half and prevent themselves from being the victims of yet another SportsCenter Top 10 at Doncic's hands.
