Injury Report: Joel Embiid's Injury Status vs. Brooklyn Nets

In this story:
In a game that will see the Brooklyn Nets debut their two newest players, Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid is being listed as questionable. The Nets recently announced that both Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson would debut in this game, but the 76ers have yet to announce a final status on Embiid, who is questionable with left foot soreness.
Embiid has been one of the most unstoppable players in the NBA this season, helping lead the 76ers to the 3rd seed as play begins on Saturday. While the 76ers project separate themselves from Brooklyn in the standings after the Nets dealt away Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, only 2.5 games separate the teams currently, so the 76ers certainly do not want to drop this game.
The Nets still have playoff aspirations after dealing away their two stars, and will get a good look at their new roster in this matchup vs. the 76ers. Joel Embiid and Nicolas Claxton has become a good matchup, and it is one that fans will get to see if Embiid is available to go, as Claxton was recently upgraded to available for Brooklyn.
While the Nets may not have the star-power they have possessed over the last few seasons, they have a lot of established NBA players who expect to compete every single night. This game vs. the 76ers will be an interesting one.
