Indiana Pacers vs Brooklyn Nets preview: Start time, where to watch, injury report, betting odds April 3

The Pacers and Nets wrap up a mini series tonight

The Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets finish their season series tonight with a battle in Brooklyn. All three games have come in the last two and a half weeks, and the Pacers are 2-0 in the matchup so far.

Brooklyn is struggling lately and is one loss away from being eliminated from postseason contention. They haven't been able to slow down Indiana in either meeting between the two teams so far this season, but they will be healthier tonight than they were on Monday when they battled in Indianapolis. Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle expects this to be a tough game.

Pacers vs Nets Injury Report

The Pacers listed Bennedict Mathurin (torn labrum) as out. Myles Turner (sprained right second finger) is questionable. Quenton Jackson, Oscar Tshiebwe, and Isaiah Wong are questionable due to their status on two-way contracts.

The Nets listed Keita Bates-Diop, Jacob Gilyard, Keon Johnson, Jaylen Martin, Ben Simmons, and Dariq Whitehead as out. Cam Johnson is probable while Dennis Smith Jr is questionable.

Key Matchup

Andrew Nembhard vs Cam Thomas: Cam Thomas is a terrific scorer who is mixing his shot making prowess with the required passing and ball movement needed in the NBA. He can make tricky shots and is a tough cover — he scored 22 points against Indiana on Monday.

Andrew Nembhard and Pascal Siakam were the two most common defenders of Thomas, and Nembhard in particular will be important in slowing him down. If he can force Thomas to have an inefficient night or off-rhythm performance, then the Nets may struggle to keep up with the Pacers.
