'Let's Go D-backs' Chant Breaks Out at Suns Game

The Phoenix Suns and their fans are indeed rooting on the Arizona Diamondbacks during their World Series run.

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks are in the World Series, and despite Game 2 of their series occurring at the same time as the Phoenix Suns' home opener, that didn't stop fans from enjoying both.

Pre-game, Suns fans crowded the bar/TV areas to enjoy each second of action possible before opening tip against the Utah Jazz

Throughout the game, the Suns would flash the score on the Jumbotron of the Footprint Center, which was met with a thunderous applause.

When the Diamondbacks secured the game-sealing out against the Texas Rangers, the pro-Phoenix crowd erupted into applause before a massive "Let's Go D-backs!" chant broke out through the arena.

Arizona won Game 2 by a score line of 9-1 and will return home to host Games 3, 4 and 5 in Phoenix.

Game 4 - on Tuesday - will also see the Suns host the San Antonio Spurs on the same night. Opening pitch is set for 5:03 PM while tip-off here at the Footprint Center won't be until 7:00 PM.

The Diamondbacks hope to capture their second World Series title after winning their first back in 2001. The Suns are still in search of their first NBA Finals title, though there's hope that can happen later this season.
