Devin Booker Out for Tuesday's Matchup at Grizzlies

The Phoenix Suns will be without shooting guard Devin Booker in their Tuesday night road meeting with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Suns only saw Booker play four minutes in the loss to the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day. He missed the prior three games with a groin injury and also missed two earlier games with a hamstring issue.

Head coach Monty Williams says he didn't even notice Booker was hurt.

"I didn't even see it. They came to me; I was walking the sidelines and they said 'We got to get Book,' and I looked up, and he had that look on his face and I knew something had happened," said Williams after the loss.

Phoenix still managed to push the Nuggets to overtime on Sunday but ultimately fell short.

Yet Booker isn't the only scorer out of action.

In his spot has been Landry Shamet, who has scored 30+ points in the last two of three games now after dropping 31 against Denver. Shamet is now out due to right Achilles soreness.

Cameron Payne (right foot) will also be out of action. He's missed the last six games.

The Suns could potentially start Damion Lee alongside Chris Paul. Duane Washington may also see some extra minutes as well.

Phoenix fell to Memphis 125-100 in their first showdown, which occurred just a few days ago on Friday night.

Cam Johnson remains out but is rumored to be back after the team's road trip that extends into early January. He has been spotted getting shots up and working through some pre-game routines before opening tip.
