Jalen Williams Questionable vs Pacers After Ankle Injury

The Oklahoma City Thunder have listed Jalen Williams as questionable against the Indiana Pacers after exiting Sunday's game early.

On Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies, the Oklahoma City Thunder saw Jalen Williams go back to the locker room twice after two separate falls. The last happened on the baseline as the Santa Clara product stepped on a camera person following a bucket.

Williams immediately hobbled to the locker room after that baseline entanglement and was promptly ruled out for the rest of the game with an ankle injury. Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault announced it was a right ankle sprain saying the team would have to evaluate their rising star in the morning.

The Oklahoma City Thunder were able to handle the lowly Grizzlies without Williams, earning a wire-to-wire blowout win, but close their homestand with a pair of threats.

This led the Sophomore to make a few cryptic social media posts, going as far as to hide all of his Instagram feed. With the drama surrounding the posts, many were eagerly awaiting the Thunder's initial injury report.

The Oklahoma City Thunder put out their first injury report (updated hourly) ahead of Tuesday's clash with the Indiana Pacers. The starting forward has been tabbed as questionable with a right ankle sprain.

Williams has only missed six games so far this season on his way to averaging 19 points, four rebounds and as many assists to go along with his jaw-dropping shooting splits of 54/44/81.

The Thunder will finish up their home stand this week taking on the Pacers Tuesday before a late-night affair against the Mavericks on Thursday.
