The NBA and NBPA have agreed to push back key off-season dates as well as the start of the 2020-21 season, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The NBA hadn’t officially announced a start date for the 2020-21 season, but the initial projection was for it to start in late December or early 2021.

The NBA draft was set for October 16th with free agency starting on October 18th just after, but as things are now, the NBA Finals won’t end until the second week of October. There is speculation that the draft could take place at the end of October, with free agency starting on Nov. 1.

However, at this time, no new dates have been determined.
