Andrew Wiggins' Final Injury Status for Lakers vs. Warriors Game 6 Revealed

The Golden State Warriors will have Wiggins available for Game 6 vs. the Lakers

After suffering a left costal cartilage fracture, Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins has been upgraded from questionable to available for Friday night's Game 6 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers. Wiggins was first listed on the injury report on Thursday, and has been testing out his ability to play throughout Friday. Going through shoot-around and his pregame routine, Wiggins has now been officially cleared.

It goes without saying, but the Warriors will need Wiggins in order to win this game - and ultimately this series. Wiggins had his best game of the postseason in Game 5, finishing with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists on 10/18 from the field. Wiggins' defensive versatility is also something the Warriors rely heavily on, as he often takes the toughest defensive assignments.

With no margin for error down 3-2, the Warriors are hoping they can get a productive game from Wiggins despite the star forward playing through pain. His willingness to battle through this injury is a real testament to his toughness and commitment to this team. A big piece to Golden State's championship run last season, Wiggins has proven his importance, and will be looking to contribute in any way he can in Game 6.

The Warriors and Lakers will tip-off at 7:00 PM PST in Los Angeles on Friday night.
