BREAKING: Draymond Green’s Final Injury Status vs Suns Revealed

The Warriors have made a huge decision on Draymond Green.

It seemed like Draymond Green was ramping up to play on opening night against the Phoenix Suns, but unfortunately for the Warriors, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Draymond Green has officially been ruled out against the Phoenix Suns tomorrow. Another thing to note is that they announced it a day before the game, which means that he's not as close as people may think.

Steve Kerr also revealed that Green participated and controlled the scrimmage, but that the Warriors did not feel comfortable putting him in a game until he can train with the team more. In the practice, Green participated in 5-on-5 work, but that was the very first time he's participated in that scrimmage.

"I do feel good," Green said. "I don’t feel all the way 100% myself, but I’m getting there.”

Going against a loaded Phoenix Suns team without Draymond Green is going to be a bad omen for the Golden State Warriors. The team will definitely need his help in containing one of either Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, or Bradley Beal. There will be a huge defensive presence missing in this matchup between the two teams, and it should be an upset if the Golden State Warriors figure out a way to pull this one out.

The Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns face off tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. PST.
