Steph Curry's Status vs. New York Knicks Revealed

The Golden State Warriors are set to face the New York Knicks on Thursday night, and superstar point guard Steph Curry is available to play. Steve Kerr recently spoke on the fatigue that Curry could be experiencing right now amid his shooting slump, leading to some speculation about a possible rest day coming for the star guard, but that will not be this game vs. New York.

Curry addressed those comments by his head coach, saying he did not feel fatigued, refusing to make any excuse for his poor shooting stretch. These slumps happen throughout the course of a season, and for Curry, this skid comes on the heels of a hot streak where he had seven 30-point games, four 40-point games, and a 60-point game in the span of three weeks.

Golden State has gone 4-1 in this five-game shooting skid for Curry, which is an encouraging sign. Curry did have 32 points on 50% shooting in a win over the Lakers during this stretch of games, so it hasn't been all bad for him, but he has been mostly below his usual production the last two weeks.

Looking to get back on track vs. the Knicks on Thursday, Curry will be in the lineup for Golden State. Every game is important for the Warriors, and this would be a big one to get.
