BREAKING: Draymond Green Suffers Injury

In this story:
It was reported by Jason Dumas of KRON4 News that Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has suffered an ankle injury that is expected to sidelined him for three to six weeks. This is a tough way to enter training camp for the Warriors, as their defensive anchor and vocal leader will be unable to participate in what is a very important stretch for the team.
While the Warriors' core of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green has been together for a decade now, they are bringing a big new piece into the mix with Chris Paul, which will require an adjustment period. That adjustment period will now be delayed as the team awaits Green's return, because whatever cohesiveness the Warriors find in the next three to six weeks will have to be adjusted again once Green returns.
It will be interesting to see how this injury will impact Golden State's starting lineup, because there are a few different options for how they can approach things. The team could decide to start Curry, Paul, Thompson, Wiggins, and Kevon Looney, or they could opt to bench Paul and start a more tradition power forward in Green's place. This is of course in the event Green is forced to miss games with this injury.
Needless to say, this is a frustrating development for the Warriors, and one that comes at a very unfortunate time with training camp just days away.
