BREAKING: Warriors Opening Night Matchup Revealed

The Golden State Warriors will reportedly have a very exciting opening night matchup this upcoming season.

According to Shams Charania, the Golden State Warriors will be facing the Phoenix Suns on October 24.

There are a ton of very exciting layers to this matchup, most notably, it's going to be Chris Paul facing his former team. The Warriors and Suns have somehow managed to avoid each other in the playoffs the last three seasons straight, but every time they play it's been incredibly exciting.

Both the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns will have very high expectations entering this upcoming season. With the addition of Bradley Beal, the Suns will definitely have more expectations; Tuesday night's game will feature the debut of Chris Paul on the Warriors, and Bradley Beal on the Suns.

It's important to note that the Golden State Warriors won't be a home run from day one. If they lose to the Phoenix Suns on opening night, it won't be the end of the world. It's going to take time for Chris Paul to get acclimated to a new system, and it's going to take time to figure out the best way to use him. The same can be said about the Phoenix Suns, despite them having a significantly more stacked roster.
