Injury Report: LeBron James' Status vs. Warriors

The Los Angeles Lakers will host the Golden State Warriors on Thursday in their first game after the All-Star break. LeBron James was a team captain for the All-Star Game, but only played the first half. The NBA announced at halftime that James would miss the remainder of the game with a hand injury.

James mentioned after the All-Star Game that he was not concerned with his hand, and it seems as if he will not be forced to miss any time. The Lakers have James listed on Thursday's injury report as probable, and it is not even the hand injury being listed, as it is once again foot soreness that is listed next to LeBron's name on the injury report.

James has dealt with foot soreness for much of the season, but it fortunately has not required him to miss significant time. The Lakers regularly have him on the injury report as either probable or questionable, and it is usually with foot soreness.

The good news for the Lakers is that a probable listing indicates LeBron will almost certainly play. Anthony Davis is also being listed as probable with a right foot stress injury, meaning he should also be available.

Every game from now until season's end is incredibly important for the Lakers, as they look to secure a play-in or playoff spot and avoid a similar ending to last year.
