The NBA has released their Last Two Minute Report for Game 1 of the Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers series, and it admits one missed call in the final minute of that thrilling game. Following Jordan Poole's deep three that missed off the side of the rim, the NBA says Klay Thompson fouled Dennis Schroder before the Lakers called timeout.

There was some debate as to whether or not the Lakers should have been granted a timeout in that scenario, as it looked like there may have been joint possession, which would make a jump-ball the correct call; however, the NBA has since admitted that Thompson actually fouled Schroder before any of that came into play.

This was the only incorrect call or non-call in the Last Two Minute Report, and it was mostly inconsequential, as the Lakers were able to get the ball inbounded to Schroder following that time out, and he made both free throws.

It was a thrilling Game 1 between two teams with championship aspirations, and it set the stage for what should be an exciting series. The Lakers seemed to be in control late in the fourth quarter, but a late run from the Warriors made things interesting in the final minutes. Able to hold on and secure a massive win, the Lakers have stolen home court advantage from Golden State.
