New Update on Steph Curry's Injury Rehab

In this story:
The last time Steph Curry addressed the media, he spoke on his current injury situation, saying, "It's all dictated on how this heals. This is different from the shoulder, where it was pretty predictable where I'd be able to get to a point where I could play and not re-injure it or put myself in jeopardy. This is different, because ligaments can heal all different type of timelines. So it's like a window for each checkpoint. After the All-Star break I want to hopefully get back on the court, and then depending on how things go from there you start to key in on a specific day to get back."
While he was not able to place a timetable on his return, Curry added that he does not anticipate being back right after the All-Star break. While that is disappointing, a new optimistic update on Curry's injury rehab was reported today by C.J. Holmes of the San Francisco Chronicle:
Stephen Curry was able to do some non-contact shooting work today after practice at UCLA, per Steve Kerr.

Still no updates on when No. 30 will return.
Andrew Wiggins is not with the team currently. He’s dealing with a family matter.
While this is seemingly a small step forward for Curry, getting back on the court is always a positive thing. From here, Curry will likely progress towards contact drills, and then eventually five-on-five. In order to reach that point, getting back on the court for shooting work is an important first step.
The Warriors know they will need a healthy Steph Curry if they want to defend their title, and the hope is that he will not miss too much time after the All-Star break.
