Steph Curry Makes NBA History vs. Philadelphia 76ers

The Golden State Warriors got back in the win column on Tuesday night behind a dominant performance from Steph Curry. With 37 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 block, and 8 made threes, Curry became just the second player in NBA history to record such a line at age 35 or older, per Basketball Reference's StatHead.

Unsurprisingly, the only other player to achieve this line in a game at age 35 or older is Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, who did it once at age 36, and again at age 38. To put into perspective how impressive this line is, only LeBron James, Steph Curry, and James Harden have achieved it at any age, with Curry and James being the only two to do so at age 35 or older.

Curry will turn 36 years old on March 14th, but he is showing no signs of slowing down. This is now three-straight games over 30 points for Curry, including a 46-point explosion in the overtime loss to the Lakers last game. Tallying 37 points in a victory on Tuesday, Curry helped lead his Warriors to a much needed win at home.

Always making history with his play, Curry did so again on Tuesday night, becoming just the second player 35 or older to record the line he posted in the win over Philadelphia.
