Steph Curry Passes Lakers Legend on Historic List

The Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets played a very low-scoring game on Friday night, but it was Golden State who was able to find enough offense to secure the win. Superstar point guard Steph Curry did not have his best showing in this game, scoring just 15 points on 5/14 from the field, but be did pass NBA legend Elgin Baylor on the all-time scoring list.

Continuing to climb up the all-time ranks, Curry is far from done when it comes to elevating his place on these lists. Baylor played 14 seasons in the league, all of which came with the Lakers franchise. Two of those seasons came with the Minneapolis Lakers, and the rest came with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Curry has of course spent his whole career with the Warriors, which makes his run in the league even more special than it already is. Elevating Golden State's franchise exponentially since being drafted, Curry is the greatest player in franchise history, and one of the greatest in NBA history as well.

As previously mentioned, Curry is not done moving up all-time ranks. Still playing at a very high level, Curry not only hopes to continue stacking great individual seasons, but he wants to continue winning at a high level with the Warriors as well.

An all-time great, Curry keeps making history.
