Steph Curry Receives Updated Injury Status vs. Thunder

In this story:
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has revealed that superstar point guard Steph Curry is being listed as questionable for Saturday's game vs. the OKC Thunder, per Kendra Andrews of ESPN. This is an updated status for Curry, who was ruled out of Golden State's game on Thursday a full day in advance.
While a questionable status does not mean Curry will play, this is a very positive development for the Warriors, because it confirms the injury is a minor one. This was the expectation once the Warriors revealed Curry's MRI results did not show any structural damage, but already being upgraded to questionable after missing just two games is even more evidence that Curry is nearing a return.
With Draymond Green suspended for the next four games, the Warriors certainly need Curry healthy and available for as many of those games as possible. Curry has helped keep the Warriors afloat despite minimal contributions from the rest of the roster, but with Golden State now having dropped five-straight games to fall below .500, any further slippage would make things even more difficult than they already are.
Wanting to avoid a situation like last season where they are trying to make up ground in the standings all year long, the Warriors are hoping to turn these struggles around sooner rather than later. Getting Curry back soon will help with that.
