Steve Kerr Reveals Steph Curry Injury Update Before Warriors vs. Lakers

In this story:
The Golden State Warriors suffered a crushing loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night, significantly complicating their path to a top-eight seed. While this loss could very well be the one that seals Golden State's spot at the bottom of the play-in bracket, it's hopefully their last game without Steph Curry.
Speaking with reporters prior to Wednesday's game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was asked about Curry's practice with the Santa Cruz Warriors, and said, "He practiced and everything went well. He'll meet us in LA on Friday and practice there, and we'll see if he's ready for Saturday."

Following the game, Kerr added, "We’re hoping to get Steph back for Saturday. I like the team a lot better now than I did a couple months ago where we were really sorting through a lot of things. I think we have an identity, I think we know who we are, I think we’ll bounce back here, and I’m excited about the last part of the season."
Even if the Warriors cannot catch the Mavericks, passing the Lakers would at least give them that first play-in game at home. In a win or go home situation, having home court advantage is certainly a big deal. This game against the Lakers is a big one, and the Warriors hope to have Curry available.
