Warriors Give Major Update on Steph Curry's Injury Return

In this story:
Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is making good progress towards an injury return. In an update from the team on Wednesday, it was announced that Curry has begun on-court activities, and will be reevaluated again in one week.
"Stephen Curry, who has missed the last five games due to injury, was recently re-evaluated. The re-evaluation indicated that Stephen is making good progress. He has started various individual on-court workouts and will be re-evaluated in one week," the Warriors wrote.
This is a major update, as it not only adds clarity to Curry's current timeline, but it also reveals that he is progressing well. From this update, it can be determined that Curry will miss at least Golden State's next four games, which come against the Lakers, Rockets, Timberwolves, and Blazers. Not set to face any top-tier teams in the next week, there is at least some hope that the Warriors can continue treading water while they await Curry's return.
The team certainly needs their superstar back sooner rather than later, and from this new report, it seems as if there have been no setbacks that will delay Curry's return longer than initially anticipated. While the team of course wants Curry back now, this is a positive update that leaves the door open for a return in the not so distant future.
Next week's reevaluation will be crucial.
