Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala only played 8 games this regular season, and has not appeared in a postseason game yet. The veteran forward re-signed with Golden State this summer to primarily fill a veteran leadership role, and while he did not project to play much, injuries have significantly limited any potential on-court role he could have had.

Iguodala is one of Golden State's core players from this dynasty run, and is a trusted veteran even at this stage in his career. Speaking with the media on Saturday, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Iguodala is getting closer to a potential return.

"He's been on the court the last few days," Kerr said of Iguodala. "He hasn't done any full-contact work, but he's getting a lot of ball handling and defensive slides and that sort of thing. So he's getting more and more work in each day, and he's getting closer to possibly being able to play."

From Kerr's comments, it sounds as if any Iguodala return would have to come after this series, meaning Golden State must defeat the Lakers and advance in order to see him on the court again. Iguodala has been vocal about this being his last NBA season, so it would be great to see him get on the court again at some point in this playoff run.
