Concerning News Why The Wizards May Be Relocating

What’s The Reason Behind Wizards Aims Of Relocation?

There was a famous saying that started in the NBA with an Eastern Conference rival of the Wizards that is now used very loosely from people all over the world nowadays - “Trust The Process.” It all started when the Philadelphia 76ers decided to tank to rebuild their team through the NBA Draft. When you look at their situation, you have to ask yourself: “Was it really worth it?”

The Big Man has been known to dominate the Washington Wizards all season long. The Wizards lack the front court help they truly need and it is even worse for them now after trading away Daniel Gafford. However, when you look at the Philadelphia 76ers, they haven’t won anything, Joel Embiid can’t seem to stay healthy as he gets hurt every single season, and they can’t seem to get over the hump and make it out of the second round of the NBA Playoffs.

After trading away Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis, it seems like the Washington Wizards are “Trusting The Process.” It seems like they are tanking perhaps and trying to stockpile on draft picks for future NBA Drafts. It seems like they may have punted on the season as they haven’t won a single game all month for the month of February.

As things go from bad to worse for the Washington Wizards, those seats are beginning to become more and more available in the arena every given night of a game day. You are beginning to see more fans for the away team there at Capital One Arena too. No one is making it a priority to watch from home on NBA League Pass or Monumental Sports Network either.

The fan base appears to be suffering. This may be a league wide issue as the quality of the game is going downhill too as everyone wants to be Steph Curry. Everyone is shooting nothing but three pointers the whole game. We seen it in the NBA All Star Game too. The Portland Trailblazers are first in the drop off of local viewership, the Brooklyn Nets are second as they fired their NBA Coach Jacque Vaughn today, while the Washington Wizards are third as they promoted their HC Wes Unseld Jr and have Brian Keefe filling in as the Interim Coach.

Moving the Wizards to Virginia could be the key to saving this franchise.

While the city they play in may change, the players, the team, and the fanbase will still be the same and grow with folks in Virginia. This move will benefit both the Wizards and the NBA as a whole.
