Wizards Back In Action Tonight In Boston

In this story:
It is no secret that the Boston Celtics are one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference this season. As a matter of fact, they’re one of the best teams in the entire league. If you want to get technical in speaking, they are the best team in the NBA as they have the best record in the entire league.

Not only do they play the game well, they do business well too as they acquired a top reserve player in Xavier Tillman. He will make his Boston Celtic debut tonight. This won’t be an easy task for the Wizards as they just traded away their best big man who was their best defender as well, Daniel Gafford.

The road ahead is only going to become even more difficult without him, especially when it comes to protecting the paint. Celtics All Star Guard Jaylen Brown loves to attack the basket. The Wizards will struggle with that tonight. Brown is slated to participate in the NBA Dunk Contest this year. The Wizards will need to make sure he doesn’t find his way to the rim tonight if they want to keep things interesting tonight.

Of coarse, keeping things interesting won’t start nor end with Jaylen Brown. Jayson Tatum is the one the Wizards will need to keep an eye on tonight on the court. Tatum is in MVP conversations this season and those conversations are rightfully deserved too. He simply does too many things well and is still only improving as a player at just 25 years of age.

Like Jaylen Brown, Tatum is at his best when he is attacking the basket too. He tends to get in his own way when he gets jump shot happy in the game. The Wizards must protect the paint by any means necessary tonight. If they can force Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum to live and die by the three, they may be able to avoid a Boston Massacre tonight and pull this upset off tonight in Boston.

They still will need to get some points on the board tonight as well. The production from Jordan Poole has been slim to none this season as he recently had a scoreless night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Look for the Wizards to rely heavily upon Kyle Kuzma tonight as they will need him to play like the NBA Champion he was in LA with the Lakers.
