Wizards Gained Promising Hope For Tonight With Jordan Poole

In this story:
Back to back nights are rough for any team in the NBA. Every team in the league is hoping it will be done away with and just a thing of the past in the near distant future. In the meantime, it is something they all must deal with, including the Washington Wizards. While the Toronto Raptors have had some time to rest, the Washington Wizards have not after losing last night at home to the Orlando Magic. Jordan Poole caught fire late in the game but it simply was not enough to secure the victory. On the other side, the Raptors may be faced with a bit of rust as they haven’t played since last Saturday in which they loss to the Utah Jazz. Tonight will be a very intriguing matchup.

The Bottom Line
Generally thinking, when a team haven’t had much time to rest like the Washington Wizards, you would think that they would be in serious danger of losing their next game as they are playing two games in two nights. However, there are a couple of things to note here. One, the are playing at home. There’s nothing like having your home crowd to back you up. Two, the Raptors may have had a bit too much rest as they haven’t played in three days now. The rust may be evident for the Raptors. That is why it is very important for the Wizards to get off to a good start and gain a lead early in this game. They may have to ride the hot hand of Jordan Poole even more in this game as Kyle Kuzma is questionable due to a quad injury. Rookie Bilal Coulibaly will more than likely replace Kuzma if he isn’t able to go tonight. We will be in serious need of a Poole Party tonight if Kuzma is unable to suit up.
