At a team luncheon on Tuesday, Cincinnati Bengals owner and president Mike Brown said he thinks quarterback Andy Dalton's next deal should be "around (San Francisco 49ers' quarterback Colin) Kaepernick's," Coley Harvey of ESPN.com reports.

Kaepernick signed a six-year, $126 million contract extension in June that will keep him in San Francisco through 2020. The contract is seen as team friendly because only $13 million is guaranteed, and his base salaries from 2015 to 2017 are guaranteed only for injury; If the 49ers cut him prior to April 1 of each year, they face a minimal penalty.
