Former Patriots OL Isaiah Wynn Signs With Dolphins, per Report

The Dolphins are signing offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn on a one-year deal, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.

The Patriots drafted Wynn out of Georgia in the first round with the 23rd pick of the 2018 NFL draft. The offensive tackle tore his Achilles in the preseason of his rookie season, which forced him to miss the year. He then played the next four seasons with New England.

Since 2019, Wynn played in 43 games for the Patriots, starting in 40 of them, primarily at left tackle. He dealt with injuries throughout his time in New England, battling feet and knee ailments.

By joining Miami, Wynn provides depth for the Dolphins’ offensive line, which already boasts Terron Armstead at left tackle and Austin Jackson at right tackle. While Armstead played in 13 games for Miami last year, Jackson played in just two as he dealt with an ankle injury for the majority of the season.
