Patriots’ Isaiah Bolden Addresses Head Injury Suffered vs. Packers

Patriots cornerback Isaiah Bolden posted a message on social media Sunday morning, reassuring fans about his health after he suffered a head injury during his team’s preseason game against the Packers on Saturday night.

The scary moment resulted in Bolden’s being taken off the field on a stretcher.

“Appreciate the prayers more excited to be back with the guys,” Bolden wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

His message comes shortly after the Patriots released a statement announcing Bolden had been released from a Green Bay hospital and would travel home with the team. After the hit in the fourth quarter, both teams elected to suspend the preseason game with approximately 10 minutes remaining in regulation.

Bolden suffered the injury while trying to break up a pass by Green Bay quarterback Sean Clifford that was intended for wide receiver Malik Heath. Bolden appeared to take an accidental hit to the head from Patriots linebacker Calvin Munson. Bolden was selected in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft out of Jackson State, and it’s unknown when he’ll return to the field.
