Bill Belichick Offers Out-of-Character Response When Asked About Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce

The seemingly budding relationship of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift has been swirling in the media recently, and the rumored romance reached new heights Sunday. Ahead of Kansas City’s Week 3 matchup with the Bears, Swift was spotted in an Arrowhead Stadium suite with Kelce’s mother, Donna, set to watch Travis go to work.

The scene set social media ablaze, as fans and Swifties alike went wild. Even Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was asked about it Monday morning, and he shared a witty one-liner when asked about the tight end’s touchdown catch with the singer in attendance, while on The Greg Hill Show on WEEI-FM.

“I would say, Travis Kelce has had a lot of big catches in his career. This would be the biggest,” Belichick said, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

It’s difficult to argue with Belichick’s point, and it’s safe to say Swift loved seeing Kelce find the end zone as well.

Overall, Kelce didn’t disappoint in his performance, catching seven passes for 69 yards during the team’s 41-10 victory with Swift in attendance.
