Colts’ Jonathan Taylor Set to Return From Injury vs. Falcons

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is not listed on the injury report for this week’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, a sign that he will play in his first game since November.

Taylor underwent thumb surgery in late November that led to him missing each of the last three games. The 24-year-old, who also missed the first four weeks of the season with an ankle injury, has played in just seven games this year and totaled 414 yards and four touchdowns.

Colts running back Jonathan Taylor will play on Sunday in his first game since having thumb surgery.

Indianapolis is currently 8–6 on the season, tied for first place as one of three teams in the AFC South with that record. Without Taylor, Indianapolis went 2-1, including a big win over the Steelers last Saturday, with running backs Zack Moss and Trey Sermon filling in.

The Colts travel to Atlanta on Sunday before hosting the Las Vegas Raiders and Houston Texans to end the season.
