NYC TV Station Subtly Trolled Bill Belichick Leaving Patriots With Perfect Giants Tweet

In this story:
Bill Belichick is a god in New England. In New York? Not so much.
News broke early Thursday morning that Belichick is leaving the Patriots after more than two decades in charge of the team. He compiled quite the résumé during that time, winning six Super Bowls and three Coach of the Year awards, among other accomplishments.
NBC New York took a different approach when sharing the news, though. In an excellent example of searching for the local angle, the affiliate managed to focus on the Giants and Jets in its tweet about Belichick’s departure.

Personally, I would have found a way to mention that Belichick won his first two Super Bowls with the Giants as the team’s defensive coordinator, but kudos to Channel 4 for managing to keep Jets and Giants fans happy while also sticking it to the hated Patriots.
