Maxx Crosby, Josh Jacobs Share Heartfelt Exchange After Jacobs Agrees to Sign With Packers

The popular phrase “once a Raider, always a Raider” stands true for running back Josh Jacobs.

After the running agreed to a deal with the Green Bay Packers, ending his five-year stint with the Las Vegas Raiders, Jacobs was shown plenty of love on social media. And at the forefront of that was a message from current Las Vegas star pass rusher Maxx Crosby, as the two had a heartfelt exchange on X following the news.

Crosby’s post began going viral and Jacobs responded just five minutes after it went up, returning his love and appreciation for his former teammate.

Jacobs was a first-round pick in 2019 out of Alabama, selected No. 24 overall. Crosby, as he stated, was in the same draft class, with the Raiders selecting him in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft.

Both players have made multiple Pro Bowls (two for Jacobs and three for Crosby). Jacobs was a first-team All-Pro in 2022, and Crosby has been named a second-team All-Pro twice (2021, ’23).
