Bills to Trade Stefon Diggs to Texans in Blockbuster Deal, per Report

The standout veteran wide receiver will become the number one option for second-year quarterback C.J. Stroud.

The Buffalo Bills are finalizing a trade that will send four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in exchange for draft pick compensation, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Bills will receive a 2025 second-round pick via Minnesota from the Texans, while the Texans will receive Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick.

The trade concludes a four-year stint for the 30-year-old in Buffalo in which he caught 644 passes for 5,372 yards and 37 touchdowns.

Diggs showed last season that he still has plenty left in the tank as a No. 1 option in an offense, as he caught 107 passes for 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns.

Diggs will join second-year quarterback C.J. Stroud and look to untap his full potential after a promising first season under center that saw him win offensive rookie of the year and take the Texans to the playoffs.
