When NFL fans tune in to the NFL draft over the next few days, they will not be seeing a familiar face.

Longtime NFL draft analyst Todd McShay, who was a mainstay on ESPN's draft coverage since 2006, was part of the network's layoffs last summer. McShay reminded fans of where they could find him in a post on social media last week.

"Just wanted to take a minute to say thank you!" McShay's post began. "The outpouring of support during draft season has been noticed and greatly appreciated. As for next week's draft, I'm sitting this one out on TV due to obvious contract limitations but it's business as usual around here! You can catch me on God Bless Football today, as well as Pardon My Take and The Ryen Russillo Podcast. ...Thanks again for all the support and inquiries on where to find me during the 2024 draft. I can't wait to get back out there and will keep you posted on what's coming next!"

Coverage of the NFL draft begins with the first roun on Thursday night, set to air on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and NFL Network at 8 p.m. ET.
