Drake Maye's Brothers Roasted Him in 'Special Message' During NFL Draft

In this story:
No one can roast you quite like your own brothers.
Former North Carolina quarterback—and newest member of the New England Patriots—Drake Maye learned this lesson once again during the 2024 NFL draft on Thursday night.
The NFL gives players an opportunity to receive a pre-recorded, special message, usually an emotional one, from their families immediately after being drafted and taking the stage with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Maye, who was selected third overall by the Patriots, slipped on the headset to listen to his brothers, anticipating them saying something that was going to get him choked up. Instead, Maye's brothers proceeded to roast him.

"Pretty boy," Cole Maye said. "Overrated," said Luke Maye. "A b***h," finished Beau Maye, as Drake Maye burst into laughter.
Fans loved the video, which was a play on a viral clip from a 2011 ESPN documentary about the 1990s Michigan basketball team, who made their opinions of Duke star Christian Laettner very clear.

Relatable brotherly love. Great to see people being themselves vs something else for the cameras

Too good. Kudos to the Maye brothers for providing a priceless NFL draft moment.
