49ers Receive Impressive Grades From NFLPA's First Annual Team Report Card

Well here is something new.

The NFL Players Association has conducted its first annual team report card. 1,300 players were surveyed on multiple categories regarding the team that they play for. This looks like it is going to be a staple from now on, which will be revealing to see how players grade their team.

Here is an explanation on why the NFLPA are conducting these team report cards:

One of our core jobs as a union is to improve the overall working conditions for our players, which includes the daily experience of players at the team facilities away from the lights and cameras. 1,300 of our players provided information to share with one another about their current club, to not only help them make important career decisions, but also help raise standards across the league. Our goals were to highlight positive clubs, identify areas that could use improvement, and highlight best practices and standards.

For the San Francisco 49ers, they received impressive grades from their players on the report card. The 49ers were so impressive that they made it as the No. 7 best team of all 32. This will probably be a nice little sway and convincing factor for the 49ers to free agents in a couple of weeks.

The categories on these reports cards are treatment of families, nutrition, weight room, strength staff, training room, training staff, locker room, and travel. Nothing lower than a C+ grade was given to the 49ers, so at the very worst they are a slightly above average in everything. Not a bad debut for the Niners on the team report card.

Training room: C+

Training staff: A-

Locker room: B+
