The Stock of Javon Kinlaw Appears to be Ascending

In this story:
This year's training camp is the first time Javon Kinlaw has had zero health concerns.
Every year he has been missing in action or has been integrated slowly. It has to be a thrilling and uplifting feeling for him as well as the 49ers to have him out there at full strength. He can finally start to build himself up in preparation for the regular season. Kinlaw having a normal training camp start is likely why Kyle Shanahan say's he's "been unbelievable."
It's always a great sign when Shanahan gives a raving report like that, but now another coach is adding onto it. Defensive coordinator Steve Wilks has also bestowed upon some praise onto Kinlaw.
“Well from day one, I've been talking about Kinlaw and his progression," said Wilks. "He stayed here all summer, dedicated himself as far as trying to continue to get his body right. Mentally, he's in a great spot and just love the way he's playing violent, hands up front, getting off the ball and the way he's turning and running and getting to the football is amazing. I know [Head Coach] Kyle [Shanahan] showed one of the plays in the team meeting this morning with him just coming out of his stack, as we call it, and I'm just excited right now and just looking for him to have a great year."
This is so unusually to hear coaches, especially back to back practice days, to give praise to Kinlaw. It just goes to show how happy they feel that he is out there without any health issues. Because of all this praise he is receiving, the stock of Kinlaw may be ascending. The fact that he is able to practice without limitations is already one step taken towards establishing that.
Kinlaw is entering the final year of his rookie deal, so he will need a major impact season to bring up his value. Should he prove to be an adequate role player, then I could see the 49ers trying to bring him back on a one-year deal with incentives. And I think Kinlaw would easily come back given the 49ers are the best team for him to thrive in. It's not like a change of scenery would do much for him since it hasn't been his performance that's been lackluster -- it's been his availability.
The coaches so far are making Kinlaw are intriguing player to watch early on. If his health continues to hold up for the foreseeable future, then perhaps the 49ers get to see the player they envisioned when they drafted him in the first round in 2020.
