Patrick Mahomes Shows Respect to Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson After Winning Showdown With Josh Allen
CINCINNATI — The Chiefs beat the Bills 27-24 to advance to the AFC Championship Game for a sixth-straight season.
Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes shared his mindset when facing great quarterbacks like Josh Allen after the game. He went out of his way to mention Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson.
"Every time I go up against Josh (Allen), I know it's going to come down to the end," Mahomes said. "Same with Joe (Burrow) and Lamar (Jackson). I know how much fire they have. They're not going to give up until the very end. You appreciate that stuff."
Mahomes will face Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in the playoffs for the first time next week with a Super Bowl appearance on the line.
