Report: Space Opens For Bengals Permanent Indoor Practice Facility

Hilltop Companies is exiting Downtown Cincinnati.

CINCINNATI — A key barrier to building a permanent Cincinnati Bengals indoor facility fell this week.

The Cincinnati Business Courier reports Hilltop Companies plans to acquire a site in Cincinnati's Riverside neighborhood to move its downtown operations. Moving the asphalt and concrete plant makes room for more Bengals parking and space for the indoor facility.

The Cincinnati Planning Commission is considering the sale of the new land and Hilltop's move on April 21.

Hamilton County agreed to pay $29.75 million to acquire Hilltop's 17-acre downtown site in 2019. Thus far, the county's taken over seven acres (including the current bubble location), this move opens up the other 10 acres.

Downtown Cincinnati gets a nice facelift by moving the operations, and the Bengals get to move forward with a permanent facility.
