Trey Hendrickson Faces 'Uphill Battle,' But Could Try to Play on Thursday Night Against Ravens
CINCINNATI — The Bengals travel to Baltimore this week to play the Ravens on Thursday Night Football. They could be without their top pass rusher.
Trey Hendrickson suffered a hyperextended knee on Sunday against the Texans. His MRI came back negative.
"Uphill battle, but wouldn't put it past him to at least try. That's how he's wired," one source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Hendrickson has 8.5 sacks and leads the NFL in pressures since Week 8 (23) according to Pro Football Focus.
If Hendrickson is out, then rookie Myles Murphy and veterans Cam Sample and Joseph Ossai would likely see more playing time at defensive end.
