ESPN's Ryan Clark: Joe Burrow Only Player in 'The Conversation' As Patrick Mahomes' Rival

In this story:
CINCINNATI — ESPN analyst and former NFL player Ryan Clark said the quiet part out loud on Monday's episode of Get Up: Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is the only active NFL quarterback to meet the moment against Patrick Mahomes.
Burrow is 3-1 in his career against Mahomes, including the 2022 AFC Championship Game.
"Patrick Mahomes ain't got no rival. He does not have one," Clark said on the show. "It's Patrick Mahomes and everybody else. And if you bring in anybody into the conversation, it's only Joe Burrow. Because right now, he's the only person in the AFC that has shown that he can slow his heartbeat down and compete against the great."
Burrow now gets the best schedule setup he's had since his rookie season. Cincinnati faces a last-place schedule in 2024 and will get another chance to knock the Chiefs off in their building with what Bengals fans are hoping is a healthy Burrow at the helm.
