Tee Higgins Ready to Get Healthier Across Bye Week: 'Should be Easier' to Deal With as Season Progresses

In this story:
CINCINNATI — Tee Higgins is having a tough start to a 2023 season now marred by a rib injury, but he's ready to get healthier during the bye and attack the rest of the slate.
Cincinnati's long receiving weapon spoke to the media before checking out for the off week.
"I think it should be easier," Higgins said about managing the injury after the bye. "I'll probably deal with it for a few weeks but other than that should be alright."
Higgins has now caught two or fewer passes in four of five games this season. He finished with two catches for 20 yards in the win over Seattle.
Sunday was more so due to a lessened snap count on top of some near misses on four targets.
"I was definitely feeling it to get the whole game but I was able to tolerate the pain and I was able to get through it," Higgins said.
