Watch: Roquan Smith Chirps Back at Germaine Pratt Following Win Over Bengals: In The 'Result-Making Business'

CINCINNATI — Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith isn't buying the "excuse" from Germaine Pratt about the Bengals' loss on Thursday Night Football last week.

Cincinnati lost Joe Burrow for the season early in the game. A contest Pratt tweeted Lamar Jackson only "looked good" in because Burrow got hurt.

"It just sounds like a bunch of excuses if you ask me," Smith said on The Vault: A Daily Ravens Podcast. "We could have said that last year when Lamar wasn't out there and whatnot, so it's about are you in the excuse-making business or are you in a result-making business and I'm more so in the result-making business regardless of who comes out there whether that's nine, six, or whoever the case maybe it can be Zac Taylor, you know? So it really don't matter who's out there at quarterback but, feel for the guy Joe (Burrow), wish him a speedy recovery. You hate to see people go down with serious injuries, but at the end of the day, it's part of the game that we play. It's a very physical game, but sounds like an excuse to me and I guess that makes them feel better."

Smith finished with 10 tackles in the games. The second-most on Baltimore's side that night. Although, he did post a 35.4 overall PFF grade, his worst since Week 8 of last season.
